I have no more idea than you have of where I was born.

I've picked up on the second "have". I think it should be "do":

I have no more idea than you do of where I was born

Could you, native speakers, elucidate this fine point, please ?

As Ferdis said ,have an idea comes with that structure .And Where I was born is a noun clause which acts as a noun and here is object of the whole sentence .Where is clause introducer.
Clause:part of a sentence which contains a subject and predicate.
