Of these 22 people

Which are correct:

1) Of these 22 people, I can show that 18 are related to each other.
2) Of these 22 people, I can show that 18 people are related to each other.

3) Of these 22, I can show that 18 are related to each other.
4) Of these 22, I can show that 18 people are related to each other.

I am assuming that in the cases of '3' and '4' context makes it clear that we are talking about people. Someone might be pointing to photos or the 22 people or to a list of their names.
