Of the same category

Someone goes into a hotel that is fully booked and says
Could you help me find a hotel for the night please?
One of the same category as yours. I don't want something to cheap nor too expensive.

Is it natural to say of the same category in this context?

Thank you

There are very few examples of 'of the same category'. It's so seldom used that it's better not to use it. It will sound wrong to most people. (However, it does have the same meaning as 'in the same category' in the rare cases when it's used.)
