Of round-arm length

If a tree is as big as you can embrace it with two full arms, how would you describe it?:

My attempt:
eg When the Tom Emperor was in power, a grain grew in the court in the evening, which in the morning was of embracing thickness/as large as your two full arms can circle/of embracing perimeter.

Top answer

I'd use: " as large as your two full arms can circle" . The meaning of "embracing" wouldn't be immediately obvious to me without more context.

When the Tom Emperor was in power, the seed of a tree was planted in the court one evening and by the morning the tree had grown so large that a man's arms could barely encircle it.
