Thank you. So 'large' is not good? Another question, what about "it was interesting" vs. "it was of interest", can you say both? Which is more natural?

No, I don't think you can use large interest in this context.

My first impression of the difference between it was interesting and it was of interest is that the first is more an emotional response and the second more business-like. Anyone else have any thoughts?
