Of any of a number

The acute phase of DHF is almost indistinguishable from the acute phase of dengue fever, or the acute phase of any of a number of illnesses including measles, rubella, influenza, typhoid, leptospirosis, or malaria, which are all common in dengue endemic regions. In this sentence "of any of a number" is it correct. Kindly advise.
