Of a score of fathoms

Hi,

“Nothing will take a lure pulled down the middle of the current at a depth of a score of fathoms.”

This is a line from The Witcher. What does ‘at a depth of a score of fathoms’ mean exactly? I understand the rest but this part went over my head.

Thank you.

A score means 20 and a fathom is a depth of 6 feet or 1.83 metres, so a score of fathoms is a depth of 120 feet or 36.6 metres.
