Odd one out

Please, help me to odd one out. It does hardly relate to the meaning.

In the second raw FOOT is the odd one, as all the other words go with preposition BY. But I'm not sure about the others, as the logic of the rest two may be different.

1. accurate / advisable / apparent / comfortable / complete / confident / correct

2. accident / bus / foot / heart / means of / no means / oneself / the way

3 .barrel / carafe / cask / firkin / pan / pitcher / tin

Big thanks^)

  • For #1, all of the adjectives can follow "It is" semantically except "confident", which refers only to sentient beings.
  • For #3, all but "pan" are relatively deep containers for liquids—this also depend on word meanings, however.
