obvious vs clear.

What's the difference between obvious and clear?

1. I heard their voices just now. It's obvious/clear that they saw us coming and they have escaped.
2. She is so wasted. It's clear/obvious that she's going to pass out any minute now.
3. The car behind us is tailgating us. It's clear/obvious that he's pissed that we're going at a snail's pace.
4. Are you out of your mind? It was clear/obvious that she was pulling a prank on you. Calm down, for God's sake!

What's the difference?

Thanks

In these sentences, and others similar, there's very little difference for me. If I had to identify a nuance I'd say that "obvious" is slightly more conversational/subjective, and "clear" slightly more formal/objective (or trying to give the impression of objectivity, at least).
