Objects in this sentence

Hi,
The other day I was thinking of you that time when you cried over spilt milk because I did the same thing yesterday.

I was thinking of you the other day that time when you...

How should we word this? Are we able to say 'thinking of you that time'? Seems to be two direct objects...

So you would leave out 'you' then? I just wanted to emphasize that I was thinking of him due to what he did, rather than thinking of what he did...


And please ignore the last word in the topic sentence--'yesterday'. That only confuses things as state it is 'the other day' earlier in the sentence.

So you would leave out 'you' then? The sentence is fine the way that it is originally written. I didn't mean to suggest that it wasn't. I was just discussing how to intepret it.

I'm glad we cleared that one up.

I suppose I could say

''...thinking of you and that time...''

But I don't care for this one much.
