Objective complement.

I remembered him singing.


I wonder if the sentence above is 'S V O' or 'S V O C' sturucture.


In the former case, singing might be objective in the gerund form and 'him' is its subject.


In the latter case, singing might be the present participle.

I would analyze the sentence thus:

I remembered [ him singing ].
S .......... V ........ [ .. S ..... V ..... ].

The embedded clause is a non-finite clause of the gerund type.

This is also called a catenative construction, i.e., a combination of two verbs.
