Are these sentences examples of proper english?
"I need food containing lots of protein" or "food that/which contains"
"I dont like people smoking in public." or "people who smoke"
The right use of participles has been haunting me for a while... I reguarly come across new sentences, spoken by foreigners learning english, which sound right and wrong at the same time. I guess I will never decipher an ever explaining rule to all of these sentences.... Language learning can be quite frustrating. :/
Have a nice day!
Yours sincerely,
Catull
