object fronting is only a way to avoid Rheme-Theme constructions in English since English likes to mention the new information more to the end of a sentence.

(Rheme is the new information in a senctence=object; Theme the old information=Subject)

Linguists know that. Hope it'll help you...

Object fronting is not that common. It's usually used in short main clauses in a conversational context. It requires special intonation not easily shown in writing.
