NYC

Can you say:

My last trip to New York was great!

But it sounds like it was your last time there. What I'm trying to express is when I was there last time.

Is it useable though? Thanks!

PreciousJones My last trip to New York was great! Fine for the intended meaning. True, it's ambiguous, but everyone will know what you mean, namely, 'most recent'.

  • The other meaning will only come through if you talk about a series of planned trips to NY first.
