Numbers typing

Hello,

I guess the numerals like I, II, III for 1,2, 3, called Roman Numerals.

I'm not sure how I should type them. Do you think it is correct if I type III which I mean three as three "I" like the English letter I in upper case?

Traditionally, we use capital "i". The letter "L" has the wrong shape in some fonts.
