It is undeniable that environmental pollution, which consists poor waste control, invariably a major concern in many countries. A fundamental reason is the massive spike of waste-producing around the globe. This essay will discuss the causes of this disturbing issue and the students' responsibilities about it.
There are two major reasons which cause the rapid increase in volumes of rubbish. First and foremost, overpopulation leads to the burst of garbage. Since the more people increase, the more trash is produced to fulfill their demands. For example, many stores use plastic bags to pack goods with, leading to a mass of plastic bags being left indiscriminately to environment because of consumers' unawarness. Secondly, the deficiency of a waste treatment system also leads to an increase in waste. The trash generated by these processes cannot be recycled, leading to delayed recycling of utensils and the accumulation of waste, which increases the litter rate.
To resolve this issue, youngsters might play a significant role by joining forces to reduce waste consumption. First of all, they should use environmentally- friendly domestic appliances instead of non-degradable ones. For example, when going to the market, instead of storing food with non-biodegradable plastic bags, we can carry a basket made of eco-friendly materials. Moreover, another simple yet practical way is to limit chewing gum. Gum is made from natural gum tree resin, which partly joins the volumes of trash when releasing it into the environment.
In conclusion, I think blossoming population conjunction the absence of waste management systems make the surge of trash widespread in many countries. Thus, students should be straightened of the significance of sustaining a clean environment, as well as their offspring in the future
