Any changes in the structures of all organizations may often lead to numerous contentions among people of concern, particularly in the government. While the ever increasing number of young generation promoted to key positions there gains myriad supports, some people question the feasibility of this change. In my perspective, I am more inclined to the former standpoint due to some certain reasons.
Opponents of young generation’s involvement in the government may argue that it is their early ages that result in the dearth of qualifications. These qualifications, especially economics and politics-related ones, often require people a high level of academic background to fully achieve such as Doctor of Philosophy. In addition, they claim that young people also lack practical experiences. It is partly due to the fact that the older people get, the more challenges they have to confront, hence more valuable lessons helping them make right decisions. Therefore, to a certain degree, the amount of time can play an indispensable role in people’s formula of success.
However, there exist more convincing justifications for the contributions of young people. Firstly, their attendance is often believed to reduce the generation gap among different age groups which has persisted for many ages in many governments. In fact, that most authorities are old can sometimes exert deleterious impacts on the youths who account for a major percentage of the labor force in any nation. Among them is the likelihood that young people’s desires fail to be comprehensively understood by the elderly governmental officials and nor do their requirements. Moreover, that more significant positions are held by the young is also one of the most beneficial methods to maintain the stability of most organizations. By nurturing their talents since they are still at early ages, the government can partly raise their loyalty to the organization and spare fewer concerns of changes caused by retirement in the some next decades.
In conclusion, despite some drawbacks young people promoted to important positions in the governmental systems may make, their contributions can still be of greater benefits. Providing that older ones assist them by sharing more personal experience and valuable advice, this involvement can be a useful tool that every nation might adapt to handle many issues currently challenging the society.
