Essay & Composition Writing

Nowadays, more and more older people who need employment compete with younger people for the same jobs. What are the problems this causes? What are solutions?

That people of different age groups compete against each other for the same job has led to some issues. Firstly, younger people find it more difficult to land a job. Most employers prefer candidates with working experiences to those without, which makes it challenging for fresh graduates to get hired. In the same way, older people are not able to find jobs that adequately reward their abilities. Although old age is often associated with top positions or high salary, many are being forced to work entry-level jobs with minimum wage, regardless of their experiences or degrees. This has contributed further to the imbalance between the supply and demand of labor.
