Today, learning English plays a crucial role in people's education system. There is an opinion that it is assuredly true that studying English in English-speaking countries is the best way, but it is not the only way. From my point of view, I think it is essential to explore both sides of an issue.
To begin with, there exist several reasons to agree that going to English-speaking countries to learn the " international language English " is the best way. Firstly, this way helps students to practice this kind of language in a real English-speaking environment. When studying in this environment, students will have many opportunities to interact and communicate face to face with native speakers. This is compulsory for using the target language all the time because whenever they speak in mother tongue, there will have no one to understand what they say. Therefore, this way helps them improve their pronunciations and vocabularies as well. Furthermore, by learning English in English-speaking countries, students can gain the language's culture. It is undoubtedly sure that culture influence language, so by obtaining the culture, learners in English-speaking countries can improve their English effectively.
With regard to another side, going to English speaking countries is not the only way to learn English. Nowadays, due to the popularity of English, there are many schools and language centres are established. Consequently, English learners will have a lot of chooses to learn with professional teachers and various methods. Besides, whenever students learn English in their country, they can learn without worrying about being left behind. Moreover, learning in local schools or language centres, students do not have to spend as an amount of money as study abroad. Besides, today native speakers tend to travel to many countries, so it is quite easy to make a conversation with them in some English coffee shops or English clubs.
In conclusion, studying English in English-speaking countries is highly recommended by a shedload of people because of its best result. However, learning English in their country is also convenient and effective.
