Now will you answer???

I yesterday posted some questions late at night after my study to get answers. But they werent answered becoz you all wanted me to try first. I didnt had time that day so just please answer them now because I have put in my best. Please let me know whether I am right or wrong with these questions.

1. "What will be the outcome of such a terrible disaster?" Mr. Bannerjee asked himself.

[Begin it with: Mr. Bannerjee wondered....]

Ans. ....... what would be the outcome of such a terrible disaster.

2. Supposing it were true, we should act wisely.

[Begin it with: We should act wisely provided ....]

Ans. ............. it were true.

3. Unless you confess your guilt, you will be punished.

[Begin it with: Confess your guilt that....]

Ans. ......... you may not be punished.

4. Raman wished to become rich; therefore he worked very har.

[Begin it with: Raman worked very hard that...]

Ans. ........ he may fulfil his wish of becoming rich.

5. Rewrite using adverb "too" :

The minister is so corrupt that he can kill to make money.

Ans. The minister is too corrupt not to kill to make money.

6. We ought to have consulted a doctor. Change to passive voice!

Ans. A doctor ought to have been consulted by us.

7. Change to active voice:

i) I am interested in English Language.

Ans. English Language is of interest to me.

ii) I had been delighted by Tommy's progress.

Ans. Tommy's progress delighted me.

8. Change degree of comparison:

i) Ankita is as intelligent as her sister.

Ans. Her sister is not more intelligent than Ankita herself.

ii) It is better to starve than to beg.

Ans. Begging is not as good as starving.

9. Change from Affirmative to negative and vice versa.

i) The problem of population cannot be overlooked

Ans. This one's really difficult. Please help!

ii) I am alive to the faults of my friend.

Ans. I am not dead to the faults of my friend.

10. Alas! He is utterly ruined. Change to assertive!

Ans. Its so sorrowful that he is utterly ruined.

15. He attended the meeting. No one had any objection.

Use: to

Ans. No one had any objection to his attendance to the meeting.

16. His excellent performance surprised everyone.

Use: excellence

Ans. His excellence in performance surprised everyone.

17. Your efforts did not bear any fruit.

Use: borne

Ans. Your efforts didnt borne any fruit.
