Now-off

I cannot understand what "now-off" means, in this context:

"Silver money for children's treats
Now-off to church some hymns to raise
To tell of love and joy and praise"

this is a poem about Christmas

Please: Don't use song lyrics, poems, newspaper headlines (and all sports newspapers in general) to learn English.

In your poem above, the hyphen (that small line that connects the words Now-off) has been used incorrectly. The author should have used a comma.

Now, off to church... would have been infinitely better.
