Now everywhere or found everywhere??

I would be grateful to know which of these sentences is more correct, and most importantly why.

•Poverty is now everywhere on the shore of the former sea.
or
•Poverty is found everywhere on the shores of the former sea.

Many thanks in advance, as this has been 'cooking my noodle' for the last few hours!

Hi, A sea is so large that it is normally considered to have many shores. ( Whether a former sea still has shores depends on the way you think about it. ) Best wishes, Clive
