Nouns: produce and conduct

Hi

Are there any decent nouns for the verbs produce and conduct? I am not sure but I think the way I want them, production and conduction won't work.

For example:

Once you celebrate his birthday can be After the celebration of his birthday
Only when the planet is discovered can be Only after the discovery of the planet

BUT

Entry is allowed once you produce the admit card at the gate...
Can we say: Entry is allowed on the production of the admit card at the gate...

Only when you conduct this inquiry...
Can we say: Only after the conduction of this inquiry...

Any other neat nouns for the sentences in question?

Thanks,

Tom
