Nouns as verbs

Dear teachers,

Do you (native speakers) normally say these?

The victims were helicoptered to the hospital.

Can someone police here?

Not a native speaker here, but I hear "the victims were/have been airlifted to (the) hospital" . (no article is needed before hospital in BrE). ).

Not a native speaker here, but I hear "the victims were/have been airlifted to (the) hospital" . (no article is needed before hospital in BrE). As for the second, I think you need an object after "police" because "police" is transitive (Can someone police this place?).
