noun + noun

Hi,

What do I have to know in order to make up words like this?
Let us say I need to make up a name for a board that has a flight schedule for some reason and son't know how to make that name up.

XXX Airlines flight schedule board

I feel as long as nouns sound good I can use them as adjectives.

Hi, Generally, yes. As long as the meaning is clear to the reader/listener. It's usually not a good idea to use a very long string of nouns as adjectives, as the meaning starts to get hard to find.

I think you've reached the limit with four nouns in a row. Two or maybe three is usually plenty!
