Noun Clause Vs Adj Clause

Which one is more correct:

That birds migrate for long distance is well document.
(Noun clause - subject of is verb)

Birds that migrate for long distance is well document.
(Adj clause - for birds noun)

I usually get miss when I get questions like that one!!!! Emotion: sad Please can anyone tell me which one is batter and why ?
