Noun

Sir,

I have to find the noun in given sentence.

1.I got a book in a class library.

Noun=book,class,library. OK(I think.)

Now I have to rewrite this sentence replacing each noun and pronoun in their plural form.

SO I wrote like this...

2.We got books in classes libraries.

somebody told me it is wrong.

But I could not understand because as I have listed "class" as noun in above question and if it acceptable,then why "classes" is not acceptable in the (2) in which I have to replace each noun into their plural forms.

Please help me.

Thanks.

"class" is used as a adjective to describe "library" in this sentence. It tells what kind of library it was. So in this sentence, "class" is not a noun.
