Noun

sir,

I have to convert noun and pronoun in given sentence into their plural forms.

1. He gave me a piece of furniture.

My conversion is;

They gave us pieces of furniture.

2. I ate a loaf of bread.

We ate loaves of bread.

3. I have a pair of trousers.

We have pairs of trousers.

Thanks.

Top answer

Fine, Hanuman, except-- and I will probably arouse some ire with this-- I suggest that the natural plural for 'a' is 'some' : 'They gave us some pieces of furniture', 'We ate some loaves of bread', 'We have some pairs of trousers'.
