Not/Only until

I just want to reconfirm my previous idea.

1) Not until she left her house, has she been aware of leaving her purse behind.

2) Only until she left her house, has she been aware of leaving her purse behind.

Do they convey the same meaning?

Thank you.

- - She realized it after she left. - Very odd sentence. She was aware before, but then she forgot about leaving the purse when she left the house.

I'm a little confused about it, please let me organize my thoughts again.

1. Only until she left her house were they quarrelling.

(They ended a quarrel when she left her house.)

2. Only until she left her house were they not quarrelling.

(They started a quarrel when she left her house.)

Are my interpretation correct?
