Nothing for you

I called home. The service responded. " Nothing for you." Damn, I thought, there must be a better way of putting that. I must talk to Telanserphone about new copy.

The questions are:

1) What is the service, the servant or the operator or else?

2) Does "Nothing for you" mean "nobody answers"?

3) What does the New copy here refer to?

Thanks!
