I'm sorry to say that the first one is considered to be wrong; the correct one is the last one. I made up the second one because I think it's also correct.

But would you like to clear up as for why the first is correct?

The word 'much' would usually modify/refer to a noun:

Nothing is of as much importance as our health.

In addition, you will sometimes see 'much' used this way, for example:
We were much relieved when we heard the news.
