Hi everyone,
could you tell me which sentence is correct?
1) Not until he had got home did he call her.
2) Not until he got home did he call her.

Niether is incorrect, but they both sound "stuffy" to me, which is perhaps intended. In casual situations I would say "he didn't call her until aft

I think this one is correct, but how about the one below?

--He did not realize he had left his wallet at work until he arrived home.

Do you have to use past perfect twice in this sentence?
