Not-too-distant

I know that "well-known" or "long-held" are complex adjectives, but what about "not-too-distant"? Is it a complex adjective as well?

It's a compound adjective, jaleh.

I prefer the hyphenated version (especially when used before a noun,) and it's correct.

E.g.:

I will go there in the not-too-distant future.
