A handfull of money was more than enough
My soul is tuned, and tuned is my guitar
I am here to set them for their beds tonight
With their blended stench of champagne and caviar
I fetch up some tunes, and I cry
No, I am not gonna play tonight

00I think the 'and' of the fifth line should be 'but'. Also, the tenor of the rest of the verse does not warrant dropping at the end into the casual 'gonna'-- to make it stronger, use the future of decision: 'I will/shall not'. 0-

0 I believe that punctuation is not essential if you write in free verse. Well, sorry for answering for mehr but "set them to bed" is very commonly used. It means, putting them to sleep. 0-
