Not Tomorrow Yet?

I heard this expression in the movie and I'm a little confused about its usage. Can you please explain how you understand it? Thanks in advance for your help!

Well, it is never tomorrow, but I think the point is that we still have time today to work on whatever we have before us.

Consider this example.-

Assume it is 11:58 pm.
It is not tomorrow yet.
But in about two minutes it will be tomorrow.
