Not to or to not

Hello

Can we reverse these two words "not to" in the following sentence?

- He asked me no to go.

As follow:

- He asked me to not go.

Joseph A Can we reverse these two words "not to" in the following sentence? Many people do use "to not" and think nothing of it. So many people add a word or two after the "to" of an infinitive that it is now widely accepted even though there used to be a rule against it.
