Would appreciate it if anyone could advise which of these is correct:

1) Not sure if you receive this email

2) Not sure if you received this email

3) Not sure if you have received this email

I'd say 'my previous email' instead of 'this email'.

You know, of course, that you've omitted the subject and main verb. I am not sure.....

#2 or #3 could work, depending on your context. The tenses seem strange. If you're just typing it now, and your not sure now, how could the recipient possibly have already received it?

Hi Grammar Geek, I felt the same too about the tenses in 2) & 3) initially. Maybe it is acceptable if we assume, while typing the email, that the recipient may have received it? Suppose, like you said, we are not sure and assume that the person has not received it, are there other ways to ask the question?

These both sound like you are attaching an email that you (or someone) sent previously.

Thanks for your reply. Actually, I received an email and was wondering if the person received the same email too. So, I was intending to forward the email to the person. You said you preferred 2). May I know is it because it sounds more idiomatic?
