Not Sure If 'Stupid' is Adjective OR Adverb
We started worrying ourselves stupid.
I'm not sure of whether it is adjective that modifies ourselves or adverb that intensifies worrying.

The adverb is "stupidly". You are not saying that the worrying was being done stupidly, i.e., in a stupid manner.
