Not smashed

Which are correct:


1) We were told that the statue had been smashed, so we kept on looking for it without much hope. We finally found it in a very unlikely place not smashed.

2) We were told that the statue had been smashed, so we kept on looking for it without much hope. We finally found it in a very unlikely place, not smashed.


3) We were told that the statue had been smashed, so we kept on looking for it without much hope. We finally found it not smashed.

4) We were told that the statue had been smashed, so we kept on looking for it without much hope. We finally found it, not smashed.
