Not only but also

hi
I just wanna know whether following sentence is correct or not......

''Board games are not only effective learning tools but also improve interpersonal skills.''

They are not parallel. After "not only" you have a noun, but after "but also" you say what they do. Try to rewrite it so both are verbs or both are nouns.

They are not parallel. After "not only" you have a noun, but after "but also" you say what they do.

Try to rewrite it so both are verbs or both are nouns.

(Also, please do not use "words" like "wanna" in a forum dedicated to learning English.)
