Not now vs. not for now, etc.

Hello,

1. Which of the following is the correct response when asked, "Would you like us to set up a direct debit account for you?"

A. Not now.
B. Not for now.
C. Not at this time.
D. Not at the moment.

2. If A and B are both correct, what is the difference between saying 'not now' and 'not for now'?

I'd say 'Not right now, thank you' or simply 'No, thank you'.

I hesitated for a while before excluding 'Not for now'.



'Not now' suggests 'perhaps at some time in the future'.

I think 'Not for now' implies 'perhaps at some time in the near future'.
