Not... nor...

OK, sample sentence: My favorite flavor of ice cream is not chocolate, nor vanilla. It should be or, right? Or perhaps a better sentence would be "My favorite flavor of ice cream is neither chocolate nor vanilla". Does it matter if I used neither + nor or not + or?

(bonus question: should 'end goal' should have a hyphen?)
