Which are correct:
1) I can marry a lot of people, but not everyone.
2) I can marry a lot of people, but not just anyone.
3) I can marry a lot of people, but not anyone.
I'm not sure whether '3' would work with the right intonation or not.
As for '1', it sounds strange to me, but I think people use it.
Would this one work:
5) You can't marry everyone.
Gratefully,
Navi
Those all sound strange to me. This sounds reasonable: I could marry a lot of people, but not just anyone. Edit: actually (5) would work, but not in a sense related to the others.

Edit: actually (5) would work, but not in a sense related to the others. It would imply, say, that the other person wants to marry lots of different people, and can't choose between them.
