Hi,

What do we call the condition in which we don't have any appetite for eating?

Is "unappetited" correct?

Depending on the circumstances you would say:

"I'm not hungry."

or

"I've lost my appetite."

or any number of similar statements.

If you give the context you have in mind someone will be able to suggest something appropriate.

Well, if you aren't hungry because you have already eaten, then the words for that can include full, satisfied, satiated. But, as for just the state of being without an apetite, I don't know of one (and I am a native speaker). I generally would say "I don't have an apetite." Maybe, "I have lost my apetite," or depending on the reason for this, you might say you are "nauseated," or that kind of thi

I don't have any specific context and just wanted to know whether there is a word or not.

Apparently there'snot such a word in english, but some expressions instead.

AlpheccaStars, It may be true that "anorexia" is in fact the medical term for "lack of appetite," but I would certainly caution against using it that way in general because it is much more broadly used to mean "anorexia nervosa." Anorexia nervosa is a psychological disorder -- very, very different from simple lack of appetite (such as might be caused by illness, side effect of certain medication

Yes. You're completely right.

But since I was looking for one word, AlpheccaStars mentioned that.And also he has mentioned that that's the medical term.(not in widespread use)
