Not good at arguments

I would appreciate it very much if you could help me out with some pointers on my essay(argument). I am not sure it acceptable. I have just gone back to school after 25 years and I feel very rusty and unsure of myself. I have corrected as much as I can by the book and with spell and grammer checks.
