Vocabulary

not even bothered

Hi teachers,

From movie captions:

1. He didn't come home last night. He's never stayed out all night and not even bothered to call.

Does the sentence read 'He's never even bothered to call'?

2. I was her editor for eight years, so kissing 15 years, give or take.

Does 'kissing' mean 'going on', 'close to'?

Thanks
