Not dare to show up anymore

How do you call the situation if, at some place, you make a fool of yourself or make people angry so you do not dare to show up anymore? For example, you go to a store and accidentally break an expensive item, or you hit on the sales clerk and she's upset about it, or you start a fight in a night club, and so on. Is there a kind of fixed expression for that?

Thank you Clive. I was hoping there is an idiom that fits. In my language, there is kind of a fixed idiom for it, it's something like "I can't show up there anymore".
