Not a valid

In the context: When I contacted him, he said that Someone filled with my name(benedict) in the enquiry form of our company website. It was not me. I am telling it to the manager.


Benedict told me that someone used his name and number, even he did not know the activity. so he is not a valid lead(prospect).


Is this sentence correct? and can we use "not a valid prospect or lead" used in the situation.?
