nose clog

Is this sentence natural and would you say that your nose clogs when you have a cold?

She isn't as sick as she was last week. Her nose would clog 3 minutes after blowing it. Now it clogs 30 minutes after blowing it.

Thank you

The normal word is block. See the first line at this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nasal_congestion

It would be more natural to write "Her nose would block 3 minutes after blowing it." You could also say that her nose blocked.

Hi Philip,

So how would you phrase this?
She isn't as sick as she was last week. Her nose would clog 3 minutes after blowing it. Now it clogs 30 minutes after blowing it.

Thank you and happy new year

Instead of clog I would say plug up.

Clog and plug both sound unnatural and weird. The earlier answer with the word block, sounds better and natural.
