Hi teachers! Please check the following sentences and let me know which is grammatical. Actually the first sentence is from the book I study (and teach) nowadays and I think this sentence is wrong.
1. He did not finish his chores nor did he homework.
2. He did not finish his chores nor did he do homework.
I also wonder if it is fine to omit comma (,) before 'nor'.
Many thanks in advance.
Michelle Cha 1. He did not finish his chores nor did he homework. This is not good.

Michelle Cha1. He did not finish his chores nor did he homework.
This is not good. The highlighted part would be better as or his.
Both sentences are wrong. I would write:
He did not finish his chores, nor his homework.
He did not finish his chores, nor did he do his homework.
